Mission Statement

Rooted in faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, The Cherished Child of John Calvin Presbyterian Church is committed to providing a safe, healthy, educationally sound, and child-oriented Christian program (Glorifying God) of gentle, loving care.  We will provide an atmosphere that will enable the children to be aware of God's presence at all times as part of their Christian daily life (Growing in Christ's image).  As an outreach of John Calvin Presbyterian Church (Giving and Sharing), we provide a nurturing program with flexible schedules to share the love of Christ with our Church (Gathering in Community) and neighborhood communities (Going and Witnessing), while assisting the parents in meeting their child's cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Located at 8102 Midcrown & Walzem Roads in the City of San Antonio, we are committed to the loving, nurturing, Christian care of your child.

When you enroll your child in our school, we offer to share the responsibility of assisting with your child's school adjustment and his/her intellectual, physical, social and emotional development.  Your child will be given maximum consideration as an individual.  We will look after his/her health and safety while he/she is at school and present a planned program geared to what we believe to be developmentally appropriate and educationally beneficial.

All of our staff members are experienced early childhood educators and participate in a continuous program of in-service training and continuing education for professional advancement in order to remain alert to the ever-changing needs of today's families. 

There will be numerous activities and programs throughout the year, in which we welcome your assistance and participation!

The Cherished Child of John Calvin Presbyterian Church is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

We're open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm, August through May.  Your child's calendar will follow that of the NEISD school district .  Your son/daughter will be met daily by one of our staff and will be cared for and led in a full day of educational and physical activities.

We accept applications for children from 12 months to 5 years and have the following monthly tuition schedule for the 2008/2009 school year:

2 days, $175.00 (choose 2 days, M-F)

3 days, $235.00 (choose 3 days, M-F)

4 days, $285.00 (choose 4 days, M-F)

5 days, $350.00 (M-F)
